Job summary

Saft America, Inc. is seeking an experienced machine operator for our Fill and Formation Department. You will operate and maintain production and test equipment, including filling equipment and temperature chambers, while documenting results and adhering to safety policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a dry room with controlled humidity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Technical field training is preferred.
• Basic computer skills with Excel and databases.
• 2 years manufacturing experience, preferably running machinery.
• Ability to document results clearly and accurately.
• Experience running machinery/test equipment and producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain production and test equipment using process docs and instructions.
• Operate filling equipment, temperature chambers and related test equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area following 6S standards and safety requirements.
• Inspect product conformance by visual and electrical performance checks.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and manage multiple duties.
• Develop proficiency to perform all department tasks.
