Job summary

Saft America, Inc. seeks experienced machine operators to join our cell assembly areas. You will operate machines using PLCs and a range of calibrated tools, documenting results, and maintaining a clean, organized work area in a dry room environment.

This role involves multiple shifts and requires strong attention to detail and safety compliance. You will set up, adjust and run equipment such as winding, welding, punching and stacking machines, ensuring high-quality battery cell components for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Technical field training is a plus
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably running machinery
• Basic computer skills with Excel and database usage
• Clear documentation of results and written instructions
• Experience running complex machinery with high product quality
• Strong organization to maintain an efficient workstation
• Ability to set up machines with precise parameters
• Keen eye for detail and process variances
• Strong communication to describe machine issues to all levels
• Reliable, able to work independently or in a team
• Willingness to learn new tasks and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain production equipment and tools
• Operate winding, welding, punching and stacking equipment
• Maintain clean, safe work area following 6S standards
• Inspect outputs with calipers, micrometers, meters and vision systems
• Follow process specs to manufacture materials for high power cells
• Adapt to operate additional complex machinery
