Job summary

Saft is seeking experienced machine operators to join our cell assembly areas. You will set up, operate and maintain production equipment, using PLCs and calibrated tools to produce high‑quality battery cells for space, defense and racing applications.

First, second or third shift, eight hours each, with overtime as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3–5 years of manufacturing experience (preferably running machinery), plus basic computing skills (Excel and databases) and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
3–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably running machinery.
Basic computer skills with Excel and database usage.
Able to document results clearly and accurately.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate and maintain production equipment per process docs and diagrams.
Operate winding, welding, punching and stacking equipment and gain proficiency in each machine.
Maintain a clean, orderly work area following 6S standards and safety rules.
Inspect outputs using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, meters, vision systems).
Communicate machine or product issues clearly to all levels of personnel.
