NextEra Energy is seeking an PV Solar Field Technician II (Intermediate Level) for the Roswell, NM area. The role supports Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) within the ROI team, focusing on inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and reliability improvements.

The position emphasizes safety, documentation, and collaboration with operations and construction teams to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED.
• Experience: 1+ years.
• Valid Driver's License (NON CDL).
• Trade School Graduate (preferred).
• Licensed Electrician (preferred).
• Licensed Master Electrician (preferred).
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine inspections of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on BESS components.
• Troubleshoot system failures using diagnostic tools.
• Collaborate with operations to execute maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with construction during installation and commissioning.
• Generate reports and maintain records of inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and policies.
