Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Pre Sell Delivery Driver to promote products and ensure accurate, timely delivery of batteries and related materials to dealers. You will build relationships, process pre-sale tickets, and maintain stock and displays while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a clean driving record, ability to operate a motor vehicle and forklift, and strong organizational skills to cover efficient routes. Physical work with lifting is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant customer service experience.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Must have a clean driving record and meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and forklift.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to ensure timely deliveries and efficient route coverage.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote Interstate’s products by ensuring accurate and timely delivery to dealers.
• Complete pre-sale tickets accurately and submit to warehouse in a timely manner.
• Deliver and rotate batteries and related products to dealers and service customers.
• Communicate effectively with the Pre Sell Manager via text, email, and phone.
• Establish, build and maintain dealer relationships and handle driver program requirements.
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies and operate trucks safely.
