Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Pre Sell Delivery Driver to promote our battery products and ensure accurate, timely deliveries to dealers. You will complete pre-sale tickets, maintain dealer relations, and adhere to safety guidelines while loading and unloading trucks.

This role requires a clean driving record, forklift ability, basic math, and strong organizational skills to manage routes and inventory across Texas-based dealers.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant customer service experience.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Must have a clean driver’s record and meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and forklift.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Strong time management and organizational skills for timely deliveries and route coverage.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).

Responsibilities

• Promote Interstate’s products and ensure accurate, timely delivery of batteries and related materials to dealers.
• Complete pre-sale tickets accurately and submit to warehouse on time.
• Deliver new batteries and rotate/collect battery stock as needed.
• Maintain dealer relationships and service each dealer.
• Follow all driver program requirements and safety policies.
• Load/unload trucks safely and track company assets.
