Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a Pre Sell Delivery Driver to promote our line of batteries and ensure accurate, timely delivery to dealers. You will handle pre-sale tickets, service dealers, and maintain displays while following all safety policies.

The role requires at least two years of customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle and forklift. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant customer service experience.
• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Must have a clean driver’s record and meet driver qualifications requirements.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and forklift.
• Ability to read, write, and do basic math.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with timely deliveries.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools is required (tablets, scanners).

Responsibilities

• Sell new batteries and related products that were pre-sold.
• Complete pre-sale tickets accurately and submit to warehouse promptly.
• Ensure accurate, timely delivery of new batteries and related products.
• Communicate effectively with Pre Sell Manager via text, email and phone.
• Load and unload trucks safely; maintain accountability for company assets.
• Establish and maintain dealer relationships; service each dealer.
• Rotate batteries and collect junk batteries; collect money and invoice units.
• Follow environmental health and safety rules and policies.
