Interstate Batteries is seeking a route delivery driver to serve a predetermined route of customers and dealers. You will deliver batteries, provide exceptional service, and build strong dealer relationships while following safety rules.

The role requires maintaining accurate records, loading/unloading the truck, and handling payments as needed. The ideal candidate has a DOT medical certification, a clean driving record, and prior driving or customer service experience.

Formación

• Must possess current DOT Medical Certification.
• Clean driving record required.
• Prior driving and customer service experience is desirable.
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver batteries and provide service to each dealer on your route.
• Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
• Establish, build and maintain dealer relationships.
• Manage consignment programs to increase dealer sales and retention.
• Complete documentation on a timely basis.
• Load and unload truck and rotate batteries as needed.
• Collect payments on account and handle junk/used batteries.
