Job summary

Anthro is seeking a Battery Cell Technician to support development, testing, and manufacturing of battery cells. You will work hands-on with battery materials, assembly processes, and testing to ensure product quality and performance, contributing to internal milestones and external customer projects.

You will build and test cells following SOPs, conduct capacity, cycle life, and thermal tests, handle hazardous materials with safety and precision, and report data to engineers and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in a laboratory setting.
• Experience handling chemicals in small quantities.
• Willingness to lift up to 30 lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Build and test battery cells following SOPs.
• Conduct performance evaluations including capacity, cycle life, and thermal tests.
• Handle battery materials, cells, and electrolytes with safety protocols.
• Operate lab equipment such as cell testers, cyclers, and environmental chambers.
• Collect and document test data, reporting to engineering and R&D teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to optimize battery performance.
• Follow safety guidelines for lithium-ion and other chemistries.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
