Job summary

Anthro is seeking a Battery Cell Technician to support development, testing, and manufacturing of battery cells. You will work hands-on with materials, assemblies, and testing to ensure quality and performance.

Key responsibilities include building and testing cells per SOPs, performing capacity and cycle life tests, handling materials safely, and collecting data for reports to engineers and R&D. A HS diploma or GED and 1–3 years in a lab are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years in a laboratory setting; relevant technical experience may be considered in place of direct battery experience.
• Lift up to 30 lbs and follow written safety protocols for chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Build and test battery cells according to SOPs.
• Conduct performance evaluations, including capacity, cycle life, and thermal tests.
• Handle battery materials, cells, and electrolytes with safety protocols.
• Safely operate lab equipment such as cell testers, cyclers, and environmental chambers.
• Collect and document test data, generating reports for engineering and R&D teams.
• Work closely with engineers and scientists to optimize performance and processes.
• Follow safety guidelines for handling lithium-ion and other chemistries.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
