BullishIQ is partnering with an innovative solid-state battery company. Its solid-state lithium battery (SSLB) technology enables the production of lightweight, cost-effective rechargeable batteries for diverse applications. The company's products are used in manufacturing hearables, wearables, and connected sensors.

The client is seeking a highly motivated Battery Cell Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will be responsible for developing and supporting automated electrical test solutions for solid-state lithium-ion battery production. This role is based in San Jose, CA, and requires close collaboration with Operations, Applications, and Product teams, along with strong cross-functional coordination and problem-solving skills.

What You’ll Do:

1. Define and develop test requirements for battery cell evaluation and production.
2. Design test fixtures, electrical PCBs, and develop software for automated test systems.
3. Implement automated test protocols and perform data acquisition and analysis for solid-state batteries.
4. Support rapid development and deployment of test solutions for new product introduction, process characterization, and high-volume manufacturing.
5. Conduct statistical data analysis and create scripts or tools as needed to manage and maintain test databases.

What You Should Have:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or higher).
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical testing and automated test systems.
3. Strong hands-on experience in electrical testing, test setup/debug, and PCB design is a must.
4. Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data interpretation.
5. Proficiency in test development using Python and/or LabVIEW (preferred).
6. Prior experience with battery testing and evaluation (preferred).
7. Strong team player with excellent communication and technical writing skills.
8. Experience in system-level testing is a plus.

The client offers a comprehensive compensation package, including a base salary, bonus, and awarded Subscription Rights (SR). The final offer will be determined during the interview process, based on factors such as geographic location, education, skill set, experience, and training.
