Leverage your electrical engineering expertise to conduct forensic investigations and determine root causes of equipment failures. This remote role offers autonomy and the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact cases while traveling approximately 20%.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough forensic investigations to determine the root cause of electrical equipment failures.
Perform damage assessments and provide expert evaluations for clients.
Analyze complex electrical systems and interpret data to support findings.
Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients.
Collaborate with other experts in the field to enhance investigative processes.
Travel approximately 20% to conduct on-site investigations across Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and other Southeastern states.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (advanced degrees ).
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or power design engineering.
Proficiency in MathCAD, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
