Job summary

LNM1968 is seeking a Bathymetric Technician to assist with hydrographic survey operations and to process sonar data into bathymetric surfaces, contours, and seafloor maps.

You will work with multibeam and single-beam echo sounder data, perform quality checks, and support deliverable preparation. This role provides hands-on experience in bathymetric processing and marine surveying skills development.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field.
• 1-2 years experience in surveying or hydrography.
• Basic understanding of bathymetric data processing.
• Willingness to work on vessels.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hydrographic survey field operations.
• Process bathymetric data from sonar systems.
