Job summary

Senior Hydrographer at LNM1968 Llc will plan and execute complex hydrographic surveys for ports, harbors, waterways, and offshore facilities. You will operate multibeam and single-beam echosounders, process bathymetric data, and produce deliverables meeting accuracy standards for nautical charting and engineering applications.

You will lead survey teams, ensure compliance with NOAA and IHO standards, and mentor junior hydrographers while coordinating with vessel crews in varying marine

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrography, Geomatics, or related field.
• 7+ years experience in hydrographic surveying.
• Expert knowledge of NOAA Hydrographic Surveys Specifications and Deliverables.
• Proficiency with CARIS HIPS, QPS Qimera, or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute hydrographic surveys to NOAA and IHO standards.
• Operate multibeam sonar, side scan sonar, and magnetometer systems.
• Process bathymetric data using CARIS HIPS and SIPS or similar software.
• Conduct tidal analysis and apply water level corrections.

This senior-level position requires extensive experience withhydrographic survey systems, NOAA standards, and the ability to leadsurvey teams in challenging marine environments.
