Job summary

LNM1968 invites a Hydrographer to join our field operations in California. You will participate in hydrographic surveys using sonar systems, process bathymetric data, and contribute to nautical charts and engineering deliverables.

In this role you will operate single-beam and multibeam sonars, perform quality checks, assist with survey planning, and prepare field notes and reports for marine construction, dredging, and charting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Surveying, or related field.
• 2–5 years experience in hydrographic surveying.
• Knowledge of NOAA hydrographic standards.
• Experience with sonar operations and data processing.
• Ability to work on survey vessels.

About theRole

As a Hydrographer at LNM1968, you'll participate in hydrographicsurvey operations using single-beam and multibeam echo sounders,side scan sonar, and sub-bottom profilers. You'll process surveydata, conduct quality checks, and prepare bathymetric products formarine construction, dredging, and nautical charting projects.

This position offers hands-on experience with advanced surveytechnology and opportunities to work on diverse marine projects.
