Job summary

Custom Building Products, LLC is seeking a Batch Operator for our Logan Township, NJ plant. You will be responsible for accurately blending chemicals, preparing equipment, and processing raw materials to produce high-quality finished products on a 3rd shift schedule (Sunday–Friday, 11:30 PM–8:00 AM) with shift premium.

You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in batching or blending chemicals in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and production instructions.
• Experience operating automated mixing/blending equipment in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift operation experience is a plus; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions to ensure consistent product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients into mixers; take samples and coordinate with Quality Control.
• Operate mixing equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor systems.
• Maintain batch logs, maintenance reports, and shift handoff documentation.
• Assist with packaging and material handling to support production flow.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; participate in safety training.
