Job summary

Custom Building Products is seeking a Batch Operator for our Logan Township, NJ plant. You will follow formulas, blend ingredients, and prepare equipment to produce high-quality cement, grout, and related products. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork.

This 2nd shift position runs Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 AM, with a $1.00/hr shift premium and potential $1.00/hr increases after 90 days based on performance. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain good attendance.

Qualifications

• Requires batch or blending experience; training available if needed.
• Must be able to read and follow work orders and instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements; wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and production instructions precisely to ensure product quality.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients; take samples and coordinate with Quality Control.
• Operate mixing/blending equipment for cement, grout, mastic, and cleaning products; monitor systems.
