Job summary

Prep Network is seeking a Showcases Director to organize and operate nationwide youth basketball tournaments and showcases. You will be the face of the events team, ensuring first-class experiences for players and teams while coordinating with staff and facilities.

Operates with a flexible schedule, supporting events nearly every weekend Feb–April. You will travel locally or nationally to deliver elite event experiences and mentor coaching staff across locations.

Qualifications

• Current or past basketball coach with strong passion for the game.
• Must be highly organized with multitasking ability and ability to prioritize.
• Experience running events or camps with 50–300 participants and a coaching team.
• Proven ability to make decisions under pressure and solve problems on the fly.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience working with and managing groups of 10+ people.
• Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheets, and similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Event Execution: carry out all event setup, check-in, and run of show; manage staff.
• Planning and Organizing: collaborate with HQ team to prepare event details and checklists.
• Communication: liaise with facility contacts, check-in workers, coaches and officials assignsors.
• Problem-Solving: adapt to on-site and off-site situations as they arise.
• Public speaking: address 50-300 players/parents and deliver a motivational message.
