Job summary

The St. James is seeking a Basketball Operations Manager to coordinate, manage, and support day-to-day basketball programs, leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, and rentals at The St. James.

You will oversee events, staffing, scheduling, and on-site operations to deliver a premier guest experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sports Management, Business Administration, Recreation, or a related field.
• Experience in sports operations, event management, club sports, or administration.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours based on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily basketball operations for leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, club teams, practices, rentals, and events.
• Manage club basketball operations: team operations, scheduling, league participation, tournaments, staffing, and player development support.
• Coordinate facility scheduling, court allocations, game-day setup, and event logistics.
• Recruit, train, and supervise part-time staff, interns, coaches, and event staff.
• Communicate with coaches, parents, teams, officials, vendors, and partners regarding schedules and policies.
• Monitor participant and spectator experience to maintain high customer service standards.
• Oversee tournament registration, scheduling, seeding, and event execution; manage leagues and championships.

The St. James Basketball Programs & Operations ManagerPosition SummaryThe Basketball Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating, managing, and assisting with a wide variety of duties necessary for the successful day-to-day operations of The St. James Basketball programs and events.
