Job summary

Mount Laurel YMCA is seeking a Basketball Coach to join our team. You will lead on-site youth sports instruction, applying YMCA curriculum and fostering a positive, energetic learning environment. This role supports children in developing fundamental skills across basketball and other activities.

We offer meaningful work at a respected nonprofit, opportunities to grow with the Y, and a collaborative team dedicated to community impact in Mount Laurel and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Excellent knowledge of instructing in the program area - Basketball, Soccer, Football, and more!
• Ability to perform activities which require sustained concentration and attention
• Mornings, nights, and/or weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Run on-site instruction for youth sports programming including stretch & warmup, activities, & games for respective sport.
• Teach age-appropriate skills following YMCA curriculum.
• Provide a safe & clean environment that allows members and participants to learn YMCA programs.
• Lead classes with positivity & enthusiasm.
• Provide excellent service to members and participants.
