Job summary

DecoPac, Inc. is hiring for a Full Time Baser on 2nd shift in Fife, WA. The role involves depositing base mixes through stencil and blocking mesh to create designs on backing substrates, while operating screen-printing machinery.

Responsibilities include loading materials, running and adjusting equipment, ensuring alignment and quality, and completing work orders. Physical ability to stand long periods and lift up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good organization skills to collect and assemble ingredients, coordinate timetables and schedule work assignments with co-workers.
• Must be able to give and receive accurate verbal instructions to follow directions on production lists, mixing sheets and product labels.
• Written communications to make entries on production lists, mixing sheets and base worksheets.
• Good problem-solving skills to determine appropriate action for resolution.
• Able to work with a team.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create base shapes according to job schedules and backing substrates.
• Stage raw materials and tools as specified on work orders.
• Operates screen-printing machine to print base shapes onto backing substrate.
• Mounts screen-printing frames in specified sequence on machine.
• Set machine speed and adjust pressure of squeegees according to design.
• Run, adjust and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery.
• Check production equipment to ensure proper machine setup and base viscosity.
• Inspect printed products for correct alignment.
• Complete work orders to capture inventory and lot numbers.
• Break down machine and clean screens for storage.

Primary Function: Deposit a variety of base mixes through a stencil and blocking mesh to create unique designs on backing substrate, while operating printing tools and screen - printing machinery.

Responsibilities and Duties : This information is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Team member may perform other duties as assigned.

• Operates screen-printing machine to print base shapes onto backing substrate
• Mounts screen-printing frames in specified sequence on machine
• Se t machine speed & adjust pressure of squeegees according to type of design being printed
• Adjust valves t o deposit base into screen s and for optimum speed, registration and print quality
• Run, adjust and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery
• Check production equipment to ensure proper machine set up, registration and base viscosity
• Inspects p rinted products for correct alignment
• Complete work orders to capture inventory and lot numbers
• Break down machine and clean screens for proper storage
