Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. is seeking a Baseline Program Coordinator for the Springer Tungsten Mine and Mill in Imlay, NV. You will oversee hydrogeological and geochemical data collection, ensure sampling quality, and coordinate with drill crews, consultants, and labs to meet regulatory permit requirements.

The role involves field and site-based work, managing sample chain-of-custody, and delivering documented results for modeling and compliance. A 6-month contract with potential extension is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry, environmental science, or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining or mineral exploration, with 2+ years in hydrogeological, geochemical, or environmental data collection.
• Working knowledge of Nevada environmental permitting for mining, including NDEP processes.
• Experience with drilling or core programs, geochemical sampling, or monitoring instrumentation.
• Strong data-handling discipline: chain of custody, QA/QC, and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Run the baseline hydrogeological and geochemical data collection program from planning through delivery.
• Lead the weekly baseline program meeting and track actions and deadlines.
• Manage program budget and coordinate procurement of monitoring equipment for exploration boreholes.
• Coordinate data collection with consultant and exploration team, including drilling reports and information requests.
• Support on-site installation and testing of monitoring instrumentation.
• Perform field activities such as water level measurements and sample collection.
• Coordinate core data collection and shipment with chain-of-custody documentation.
• Maintain the baseline database and apply QA/QC to field and lab data.
• Prepare data packages for consultant and permit-related reporting.
• Monitor drilling activities for permit compliance and report issues.
