Job summary

Springer is launching an extensive exploration drilling program and building hydrogeological and geochemical baselines for the mine. As Baseline Program Coordinator, you will run day-to-day delivery, coordinating with exploration teams, drill crews, and a hydrogeology consultant to ensure proper monitoring in boreholes and timely lab samples with complete documentation.

The role requires leading the baseline program, tracking budget and procurement, and ensuring QA/QC and regulatory reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology, geology, geochemistry, environmental science, or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of mining or mineral exploration experience with 2+ years in field data collection.
• Knowledge of Nevada environmental permitting for mining and NDEP processes.
• Experience with drilling or core programs, sampling, or instrument monitoring.
• Strong data-handling discipline: chain of custody, QA/QC, and accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Run the baseline hydrogeological and geochemical data collection program from planning through delivery.
• Lead weekly baseline program meetings with actions, owners, and deadlines.
• Coordinate procurement of monitoring equipment for exploration boreholes.
• Support on-site installation and testing of monitoring instrumentation.
• Maintain the baseline database and ensure QA/QC on data packages.
• Monitor compliance with Water Pollution Control Permit and related requirements.
