Oxford Area High School is seeking an Assistant Baseball Coach to support the head coach in developing a competitive program. The role focuses on mentoring student-athletes, organizing practices and games, and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities include planning drills, providing instruction, and helping recruit players while promoting academic balance. Availability for evenings and weekends, plus background checks, are required to join the program.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching baseball, preferably at the high school level or higher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies and expectations.
• Attend coaching clinics and professional development opportunities to stay current with baseball coaching techniques and trends.
• Uphold the values and mission of Oxford Area High School and promote sportsmanship and respect among players.
