Job summary

Oxford Area High School seeks a Boys Track and Field Assistant Coach to support the head coach in running daily practices, developing athletes, and promoting sportsmanship.

You will assist with event instruction, monitor performance, organize meets, communicate with parents and staff, and help recruit new athletes while ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience in track and field or a related sport is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of track and field events, training techniques, and athlete development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with athletes, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to motivate student-athletes to achieve their best.
  • Must pass background checks as required by the school district.

  • Ensure compliance with all school and district policies, as well as state and national athletic regulations.
  • Attend coaching clinics and workshops to stay current with best practices in coaching and athlete development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director.

The Boys Track and Field Assistant Coach at Oxford Area High School will support the head coach in developing and implementing training programs for student-athletes.
