Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Base Fabrication & Paint Manager to oversee the base fabrication and paint departments. You will lead production personnel, supervisors, and team leads, ensuring work aligns with engineering drawings, project specs, and customer expectations.

The role requires strong leadership in structural steel fabrication and industrial painting, coordinating multiple processes, maintaining safety, and delivering high-quality products on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for base fabrication and paint departments and supervise supervisors, leads, and craftsmen.
• Oversee daily structural fabrication operations, including layouts, welding, and assembly per drawings and specs.
• Manage paint operations, surface prep, coatings, curing, and finish quality to meet standards.
• Plan daily/weekly production priorities and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and quality teams for smooth flow.
• Maintain and enforce quality controls to ensure dimensions, tolerances, and workmanship meet requirements.
