Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Electronics with 3+ years of proven experience with installation, programming and maintenance of building automation systems (Honeywell/Johnson Controls) or equivalent.
• Ability to read building blueprints and schematics and know codes and standards.
• Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance of BAS, BMCS, life safety, security and surveillance systems; maintains LAN and network components; troubleshoots hardware and software.
• Creates changes, reevaluates programming, documents changes, maintains backups, and supports operations with programming options.
• Installs equipment per codes; designs control circuits; supports security and life safety systems; maintains schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Develops building projects, researches best practices, coordinates contractors, and manages building automation databases.
