ManpowerGroup seeks a Facilities Technician 3 in Columbus, OH to support critical building systems on 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM). The role emphasizes HVAC troubleshooting, BAS navigation, and independent maintenance of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in facilities maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics for complex repairs. Conversion pay range is $28-$32/hr with benefits after waiting period.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years of facilities maintenance or related experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with HVAC, HVACR, and chiller systems.
• Experience using Building Automation Systems (BAS).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, HVACR, chiller, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex building system issues using BAS, blueprints, schematics, pressure readings, and airflow measurements.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment, including controls, electrical wiring, refrigerant systems, and mechanical components.
• Maintain low and medium voltage electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution.
• Conduct start-up inspections and maintenance of boilers, compressors, water heaters, elevators, and fire pumps.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, automatic doors, gates, and fire safety systems.
• Complete general facility maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and vendor coordination.
