Bosch Building Technologies LLC is seeking a Building Automation Systems Specialist Intern in Irvine, CA. The role supports the engineering team in designing and documenting BAS systems, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and platforms, and collaborating with engineers, project managers, and field teams.

The internship focuses on control drawings, sequences of operation, material take-offs, and project documentation, with exposure to BAS design processes and quality

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in a related technical field.
• Familiarity with building automation, controls, or energy management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of BAS control system drawings and diagrams.
• Support creation of sequences of operation and project documentation under supervision.
• Perform take-offs and help prepare material lists and equipment schedules.
• Review mechanical plans to identify control system requirements.
• Assist engineers with programming prep tasks like database entry, point lists, and device mapping.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy.
• Support quality checks to verify Bosch Building Technologies standards.
