Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel is seeking a professional Building Automation Systems Salesperson at our Cincinnati, OH location. The BAS Sales Executive drives revenue growth through consultative selling, technical expertise, and strong relationships within the mechanical construction and building automation markets.

This role combines business development, estimating support, technical knowledge, and post‑sales coordination to deliver profitable BAS solutions while maintaining long‑term customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 5+ years in sales and estimating in BAS/HVAC/smart buildings.
• Strong understanding of BAS platforms, protocols, and integration.
• Proficiency with take-off and estimating tools; familiarity with ERP/CRM.
• Knowledge of construction processes, labor and material pricing, and project delivery.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, specs, and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships to drive BAS revenue growth.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and budgets from plans and specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and salespeople on opportunities.
• Translate BAS solutions into financial and operational value propositions.
• Support contract negotiations and deal closing.
• Manage multiple active estimates and bid deadlines.
