Job summary

The ideal candidate has a two-year technical degree and at least five years as a mechanical project manager, with bid estimating experience and strong communication, leadership, and Excel/Microsoft

Qualifications

• HVAC&R systems knowledge and related utilities.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Knowledge of local and industry HVAC&R codes.
• Ability to manage and motivate employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective negotiator.
• Proficient in estimating and bid preparation.
• Experience with medium to large projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Exercise executive authority over planning, direction, control of the project.
• Allocate and supervise material and personnel resources.
• Review plans and specifications for project implementation.
• Ensure contract and budget compliance using intensified management techniques.
• Coordinate with vendors, general contractor, and subcontractors.
• Prepare job estimates, change-orders, and required docs.
• Maintain safe work environment on all projects.
• Report project status to leadership regularly.
• Initiate monthly billing and develop values schedule.
