Job summary

MOHR Talent in Plantation, FL seeks an experienced Building Automation / HVAC Controls professional. This hands-on role requires programming, configuring, commissioning, and troubleshooting BAS/BMS in commercial HVAC environments.

You will work with platforms such as Johnson Controls Metasys, Siemens, and Trane, handle BAS networking, and upgrade systems while maintaining documentation. Must be able to travel locally and pass background/drug checks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BAS/BMS programming and setup experience.
• Experience inside building automation systems beyond basic HVAC service or wiring.
• Proficiency in BAS controller programming and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Program, configure, modify, and troubleshoot BAS/BMS.
• Set up and commission BAS controllers, sensors, actuators, and related devices.
• Modify control logic, sequences, setpoints, schedules, alarms, and system parameters.
• Perform system startups, point-to-point checkout, and commissioning.
• Calibrate sensors and fine-tune control loops for energy efficiency.
• Diagnose problems involving HVAC controls, controllers, sensors, actuators, networks, and equipment.
