Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a technician to diagnose and optimize building automation and HVAC control systems. You will program, troubleshoot, and commission BAS equipment across service, retrofit, and new installations.

Travel to customer sites is required; you will work in mechanical rooms, rooftops, and installations while ensuring proper sequencing and system operation. Background in BAS/DDC and low-voltage wiring is essential.

Qualifications

• Practical experience programming, servicing, or commissioning BAS/DDC and HVAC control systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC operation, electrical controls, and low-voltage wiring.
• Familiarity with BAS communication protocols and IP-based networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and adjust sequences of operation, configure controllers, and troubleshoot control logic.
• Identify faults involving sensors, actuators, control circuits, wiring, and communication networks.
• Calibrate sensors and fine-tune control loops to improve HVAC operation and efficiency.
• Install, replace, wire, and configure control devices; connect new equipment with existing systems.
• Check points, verify equipment response, and confirm systems operate according to the intended sequence.
• Configure graphics, alarms, and trends; complete backups and software updates.
• Explain findings, document completed work, and coordinate with project teams and customers.
