MSS Solutions, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a seasoned Controls BAS System Specialist to diagnose, repair, and optimize building automation systems at customer sites. You will lead end-to-end testing, commissioning, and start-up activities on diverse platforms.

The role requires strong programming skills across Niagara, Johnson Controls, Trane and Honeywell BMS, with a focus on hands-on problem solving and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of controls field experience.
• Programming capabilities include Niagara platform, Johnson Controls, Trane and Honeywell Building Management Systems.
• Physical Demands: lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent standing, and varied movement.
• Material Handling: frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, continuous effort.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
• Background check and drug test required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair building automation and controls systems.
• Test and modify various controls software languages.
• Device testing, program downloading, startup and operation.
• Handle day-to-day and escalated customer relations.
• Interpret control drawings, plans and sequence of operations.
• Interface with customers during site assessments.
