Job summary

Engineered Comfort Systems (ECS) is seeking a BAS controls professional to install, troubleshoot, and optimize building automation across commercial and industrial facilities. You will work with field devices, wiring, controllers, networks, and sequences to ensure reliable operation and customer outcomes.

This full-time role requires 3+ years HVAC controls experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on commercial or industrial HVAC controls experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequencing, design, and operating applications.
• Proven troubleshooting ability across HVAC systems and BAS controls.
• Experience with Tridium Niagara and BACnet networks preferred.
• Basic computer skills; PC- and IP-based controls experience is a plus.
• EPA HVAC certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug test.
• Availability for after-hours work, overtime, weekends, and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Install and service BAS controls for boiler plants, chiller plants, rooftops, VAV systems and related equipment.
• Install low-voltage wiring, Ethernet, switches, routers, controllers, sensors, and control panels.
• Build and install customer control panels for HVAC applications.
• Support PC- and IP-based integration with building automation systems.
• Configure, test, commission, and start up DDC control systems.
• Troubleshoot control systems, HVAC operation, sequences, and networks.
• Verify sequences in real buildings and communicate findings clearly to customers and teams.
