Job summary

Control Concepts Ohio is seeking a BAS Checkout Technician to troubleshoot automation control systems for commercial HVAC, air distribution, valves, and related equipment. You will perform start-up, sequence checks, and coordinate with the project team to ensure reliable operation.

The role requires a high school diploma (associate preferred), HVAC/electrical knowledge, and familiarity with Tridium Niagara. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio) is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Technical Associates preferred.
• Technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• HVAC control concepts knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, electrical and controls installation.
• Computer networking knowledge and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Start-up and troubleshooting automation control systems for HVAC and related equipment.
• Support replacement, renovation, or retrofit of building HVAC systems.
• Provide customer-focused, innovative building automation solutions and service.
• Learn Reliable Controls Product line and installation methods.
• Maintain checkout records, end device setup, and sequence checks.
