Job summary

Brady seeks a Controls Technician to lead programming, checkout, owner training, and subcontractor coordination on Building Automation projects. The role includes site databases, on-site training, and frequent travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in HVAC, CS or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of BACnet, LonTalk and Modbus protocols.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Configure, setup, and calibrate end devices on field hardware.
• Create and program site databases for BAS projects.
• Verify system performance using checkout docs provided by engineering.
• Troubleshoot communications links and LANs on site or remotely.
• Provide on-site owner training classes and remote access for sites.
• Maintain project notes and backups; ensure documentation compliance.
• Travel up to 50% and represent the company with customers.
