The Field Engineering Specialist is responsible for providing technical leadership for assigned projects, working closely with controls project management, engineering, and controls technicians from development through closeout while mentoring associates. Oversight of all programming, checkout, and commissioning tasks is integral to this role.

Monday thru Friday, with overtime and weekends as required and some travel.
The position includes occasional sitting; frequent stooping, crouching, kneeling, balancing, climbing, and constant standing, walking, reaching, and gripping. Materials may be lifted up to 75 lbs. on occasion, up to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 25 lbs. constantly. This is a very heavy physical demand classification (PDC). The role requires talking and hearing. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work is outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, and may involve extreme weather. Exposure includes moving mechanical parts, heavy equipment, wet/humid conditions, high places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather, electrical shock, vibration, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, and loud noise levels.
