Controls/BAS Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to install, test and troubleshoot BAS systems in commercial buildings.

You will support commissioning, rewrite sequences as needed, and verify point-to-point checks to meet design specifications. Collaborating with installation teams and communicating clearly with owners, end users, and contractors, you will help start up equipment and ensure reliable operation.

• Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
• Troubleshoot BAS systems and rewrite sequences
• Install, test building automation and commissioning protocols
• Coordinate with owners, end users, and contractors
• Work with start-up/termination of equipment and programs
• Perform point-to-point checks and ensure system reliability
• Team-oriented and effective communication

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prior Experience as a Controls Technician or similar position
• Well versed in troubleshooting controls BAS systems
• Knowledge of controls programming and experience rewriting sequences
• Fundamental understanding installing and testing building automation systems
• Strong understanding of commissioning protocols and point to point check outs
• Work closely with controls installations and start up/termination of equipment and programs
• Troubleshoot and manipulate current installed BAS programs
• Communicate efficiently with building owners as well as end users, and general contractors
• Ability to work in a team environment
