Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. is seeking a Project Manager to lead the installation and commissioning of Temperature Controls systems across data center, commercial, industrial, and other projects.

You will oversee all phases of BAS/BMS project execution—from engineering and programming to installation and closeout—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Responsibilities include developing implementation plans, leading engineers and installers, maintaining client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing HVAC, BAS or BMS installations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute control system implementation plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, programmers, and installers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and field surveys.
• Support technical troubleshooting and commissioning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with budget and schedule targets.
• Other duties as assigned
