Job summary

Thompson Solutions Group is seeking an experienced Temperature Controls Specialist to lead installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of BAS for commercial and industrial facilities. You will work with project managers, service teams, and customers to deliver reliable control systems.

You will install and terminate low-voltage BAS components, mount panels, perform startup and testing, diagnose complex issues, and support upgrades and maintenance while prioritizing safety and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with temperature controls, BAS or HVAC controls.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment operation and control strategies.
• Experience with commissioning, servicing and troubleshooting BAS with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low-voltage temperature control and BAS components.
• Mount control panels and related equipment per project specs.
• Perform system startup, commissioning, checkout, and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve complex BAS/HVAC control issues.
• Support service calls, upgrades, retrofits, and maintenance.
• Review control sequences, schematics, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Document work and communicate findings and changes to customers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
