Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. in Mesa, AZ seeks a Project Manager to lead installation and commissioning of Temperature Controls systems across data center, commercial, industrial projects.

You’ll oversee all phases from engineering and programming to installation and closeout, ensuring on-time, on-scope, and on-budget delivery. The role requires 5+ years managing HVAC/BAS/BMS installations, strong HVAC knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing HVAC, BAS, BMS or control system installations.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and hydronic systems.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute control system implementation plans tailored to client needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineers, programmers, and installers.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Manage project documentation, RFIs, change orders, and field surveys.
• Support technical troubleshooting and commissioning efforts.
• Ensure compliance with budget and schedule targets.
