Job summary

Thompsonknows is seeking an experienced Temperature Controls Specialist to lead installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and service of BAS for commercial and industrial facilities. You will work with project managers, service teams, and customers to deliver reliable, high-performing control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in temperature controls or BAS.
• Experience with major BAS platforms and field devices.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and sequences of operation.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate low-voltage temperature control and BAS components.
• Mount control panels and equipment per specifications.
• Perform system startup, commissioning, checkout, and testing.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on BAS and HVAC control systems.
• Support service calls, upgrades, retrofits, and maintenance.
• Review control sequences, schematics, drawings, and customer requirements.
• Document work and communicate findings and changes.
• Maintain safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
