Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in New Orleans is seeking friendly servers to provide responsive service and create an exceptional brunch experience for all guests.

As a Ruby Krewe member, you will embrace our all‑day brunch concept, work Day shifts, handle money, operate the POS, and contribute to a lively, guest‑focused dining atmosphere. This role offers growth opportunities, medical and dental benefits, paid time off, and a supportive team that loves butter and bacon.

Qualifications

• Friendly, responsive service to guests.
• Able to communicate with guests effectively.
• Basic math skills and handling money with a POS.
• Stand for long periods and lift trays up to 25 lbs.
• Understand dining room procedures and service functions.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

We Do Days! Ruby is an all-day brunch concept open for Breakfast and Lunch Only! Make your money and be home in time for dinner!

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
