Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in New Orleans is seeking bartenders and servers to deliver warm, brunch-focused hospitality and attentive service. You will contribute to a welcoming dining experience, consistently engaging guests with a friendly attitude and a can-do spirit.

As a Ruby Krewe member, you’ll embody our brunch lifestyle, communicate effectively with guests, and assist with ensuring a smooth service flow. This role includes opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and maneuver trays of food weighing up to 20–25 lbs.

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
