Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe is seeking friendly servers to provide attentive service and create an exceptional dining experience for guests. As a Ruby Krewe member, you will embody the brunch lifestyle and contribute to turning guests into loyal fans.

We offer days-only shifts with opportunities for growth and pay increases, plus medical and dental group benefits and paid time off. Join a growing concept that brings New Orleans brunch spirit to the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Must communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests.
• Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money and operate a POS.
• Ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
• Embodies the brunch lifestyle and helps convert guests into Ruby fans.
• Assist with daily service duties and follow established procedures; duties may change without notice.

Job Summary:

Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!

What does it take to be a Ruby Krewe Member?

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs
