Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for serving food and beverage with friendly, individualized attention focusing on the company core values. Works as a team to execute excellent customer service and an amazing guest experience.
1 year experience as a bartender is preferred.
TIPS certification required.
Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.
A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food handling.
Excellent customer service skills.
Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a team.
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while maintaining the highest quality and consistent customer service.
Follow all company procedures.
Assess customers’ needs and preferences, make recommendations, and respond proactively to customer complaints.
Maintain professionalism and be friendly and approachable towards guests and staff.
Reports directly to the General Manager.
Comply with all food and safety procedures.
Check identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
Prepare tables, lay out napkins and utensils, ensure condiments are refilled, and perform all other preparation tasks.
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations.
Issue checks in a timely manner and promptly return change and receipts.
Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisors.
Assist with special events as needed.
Greet all guests warmly and with an appropriate greeting.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
Report safety hazards to manager on duty. Report all employee accidents to manager on duty.
Maintain sense of urgency when on service floor.
Maintain service areas and side work duties for overall productivity.
Complete all other duties as assigned.

Education: Experienced bartender position. 1 year related experience preferred. Must be TIPS certified.
Language: Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, vendors and co-workers.

Physical demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or stand for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use their hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
Typical workweek: 20-40 hours.

Hours vary depending on business demand.
Employees are considered “full time status" if the employee consistently works over 30 hours per work week. Benefits are offered to all full time employees after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision and a free life insurance policy.
This position starts at $12.14/hr + tips.
