Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages with high quality and consistent service.
• Follow all company procedures.
• Assess customer needs and preferences; respond proactively to complaints.
• Maintain professionalism; be friendly and approachable to guests and staff.
• Report to the General Manager.
• Comply with all food and safety procedures.
• Check IDs and verify legal drinking age.
• Set up tables, utensils, and restock condiments as needed.
• Stay updated on menu choices and specials.
• Greet guests warmly and maintain grooming standards.
• Report safety hazards and incidents to on-duty manager.
• Maintain service areas and complete other duties as assigned.

Bartender Position

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Responsible for serving food and beverage with friendly, individualized attention focusing on the company core values. Works as a team to execute excellent customer service and an amazing guest experience.

Experience

• 1 year experience as a bartender is preferred.
• TIPS certification required.
• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends and/or holidays based on business demands.
• A working knowledge of the practices and procedures of safe food handling.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Friendly demeanor and positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while maintaining the highest quality and consistent customer service.
• Follow all company procedures.
• Assesses customer’s needs and preferences and makes recommendations and responds proactively to customer complaints.
• Maintains professionalism and is friendly and approachable towards guests and staff.
• Reports directly to the General Manager.
• Complies with all food and safety procedures.
• Checks identification and confirms it meets legal drinking age.
• Prepares tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks.
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations.
• Issues checks in a timely manner and promptly returning change and receipts.
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisors.
• Assists with special events as needed.
• Greets all guests warmly and with an appropriate greeting.
• Adheres to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• Reports safety hazards to manager on duty. Reports all employee accidents to manager on duty.
• Maintain sense of urgency when on service floor.
• Maintain service areas and side works duties for overall productivity.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Education: Experienced bartender position. 1 year related experience preferred. Must be TIPS certified.

Benefits and Pay

Employees are considered “full time status" if the employee consistently works over 30 hours per work week. Benefits are offered to all full time employees after 60 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision and a free life insurance policy.
