Salary Range: $12.00 +tips - $12.00 +tips per hour

Position Summary

Our Bartenders are skilled hospitality professionals who craft and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision, creativity, and care. Working in both bar and restaurant settings, they engage guests with warm, attentive service while maintaining a clean, organized, and energetic environment. Bartenders are expected to have strong product knowledge, uphold responsible service standards, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience through personalized recommendations and efficient execution. This is a tipped position, with earning potential based on service quality and guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

• Crafts delicious cocktails and drinksfor both the bar and restaurant.
• Serves a variety of wines, draft, and bottled beers, along with delectable food, all up to hotel standards.
• Handles paymentsfor drinks with precision, following hotel accounting procedures.
• Attends to guests’ needswith prompt and friendly service.
• Guides guestsin choosing the perfect food and beverage items.
• Promotes cocktail hours and special eventswith flair.
• Implements alcohol awareness proceduresto prevent guest intoxication.
• Adhere to alcohol awareness procedures to prevent guest intoxication while maintaining professionalism and care.
• Prepares drinksand ensures correct pricing.
• Assists serverswith bar knowledge and expertise.
• Cleans, sanitizes, restocks, and stores bar itemsmeticulously.
• Secures all moneyat the end of each shift.
• Keeps the supervisor informedof any significant issues or unusual matters.
• Serves bar menu foodaccording to hotel standards.
• Ensures proper storage of alcohol.
• Maintains cleanlinessof bar service and guest areas.
• Reports maintenance issuesto the supervisor promptly.
• Requisitions alcohol and bar foodas per hotel standards.

Additional Responsibilities

• Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the hotel, including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook.
• The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Department schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands and employees may be asked to work shifts other than those they prefer or normally work.
