The bartender crafts beverages according to Lombardi Family Concepts standards, assists guests in making food and beverage selections, and takes and rings in orders. The bartender is responsible for all aspects of the bar area – setting up and stocking products for each shift, maintaining storage areas, and cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all equipment, utensils, and tools. Additionally, the bartender crafts drinks while multitasking and serving guests.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
2. Assess customer preferences and make drink recommendations
3. Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with guests
4. Keep an organized bar area to streamline drink preparation
5. Check identification to ensure all guests are of legal age to consume alcohol
6. Know when to restrict alcohol intake for customers to avoid disruptions

Job Requirements:

1. 2 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant required
2. Must meet the minimum age to serve alcohol
3. Ability to work quickly in a confined area and stand for extended periods
4. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
5. Compliance with all local, state, and federal liquor laws
6. Continuous bending, reaching, twisting, and use of hands and arms
7. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
8. Upselling alcoholic beverages based on guests' preferences
